Designed for students with little or no prior martial arts experience.

Wushu Pre-Team

Meet the Head Instructor
Master Zou
Master Zou is an internationally certified Wushu judge and has served as a Team USA coach at multiple international championships. With decades of experience in Wushu and Taichi instruction, he has worked with students ranging from beginners to national and international competitors.
His teaching philosophy emphasizes technical excellence, disciplined training, character development, and long-term student growth.
Students train in a structured and supportive environment where effort, consistency, and personal improvement are valued.

Does my child need prior martial arts experience?
No. Beginner Wushu is designed for students with little or no prior experience.
My child already trains in martial arts. Can they join?
Yes. Students with prior martial arts or Wushu experience may request a Pre-Team Trial Class or Team Evaluation.
Are competitions required?
No. Students may train recreationally or pursue competition opportunities.
How is placement determined?
Placement is based on age, experience, technical ability, training attitude, and instructor evaluation.
Can beginners eventually move into Pre-Team or Team training?
Yes. Students who demonstrate readiness, consistency, and commitment will be invited into more advanced training pathways as they progress.
